Day 18 – Woman of many wonders, Matlabo Rankhododo

Women are quite good at multi-tasking and at being all-rounders across all spheres. It has only been for a brief moment that I have known this woman but I have since been able to conclude that she is a woman of many wonders.

I so happened to dedicate Day 18 of my women’s month appreciation series to her on the eve of the launch of her latest projects – a resort. Eagles resort is her latest brainchild of many that she has been able to ochestrate from its roots to the official launch day which was on the 19th of August 2017.

Very appropriate (a post) if you ask me.

A dedicated businesswoman, woman of intellect, full-time career woman (and occupies a very senior managerial role I may add), mother of four beautiful girl children and the list goes on and on. A woman, who many around her have considered her to have played a vital role in their career breakthroughs. How she finds time to execute all of her duties so diligently and effortlessly is a question I always ask myself as well.

A woman who has gone through a lot,and still does, but always continues to emerge with wisdom, lessons, power and strength through it all. A woman who has had to make a number of sacrifices in order to be the custodian of God’s love and presence to her family.

A woman with high moral ground who is outspoken and is never shy to speak her mind. A woman whose mind, thoughts and ideas are as powerful as she is.

Matlabo Rankhododo not only epitomises what the modern view of the strength of a woman is but is also a realist and someone who objectively sees things and makes them practical.  I will eternally be grateful to her for the joy and hope she has assisted to raise for me.

Here is a recap of the Day 18 post for the women appreciation series.

Day 18 of my Women’s Month Appreciation series and today goes out to a special woman of amazing character. A mother, wife, career woman and business woman of note.

A woman of style, who is full of wisdom, experience and knowledge and who easily shares those with the people most closest to her. I have learnt so much from you with the limited time I have spent around you and it’s those conversations of wisdom and growth from you and your husband that I treasure.

Never have I seen a household of mostly girls in the home being run like a well-oiled machine as the one that this woman heads. A family with so much direction, focus, warmth and life. I thank you for allowing me to experience such belonging and a welcome so far from my own home.

A mother of four very beautiful and intelligent girls, one of which I was blessed to show a strong liking to.

And I thank you for all your efforts, sacrifices and time you’ve spent to raise them to the best of your ability. I know you did not do this alone  and it was not easy. For your undying support you give to all of them, equally. And for all you do for Nora Madibana I now know where the business-minded woman in her comes from, it’s from you and I appreciate the level to which you guide and propel them towards that form of thinking.

I admire the love and kind of relationship you have with all of your girls, it’s one that is very transparent and filled with genuine belonging, acceptance and freedom.

May God continue to enlarge and enrich everything you touch. One of the driving forces and brains behind the new #EaglesResort. A testimony of how all your hardwork all these years will finally be a reality and my support in that venture to you and the family is undoubted.

To a very successful #EaglesResort launch this weekend and many more milestones ahead of you and your family. Looking forward to the future ahead of us all…

Thank you for the inspiration and all that you do.

A very happy women’s month to you!
